Day 1 Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Your Moroccan journey begins in Casablanca, a bustling metropolis known for its modernity and rich history. After arriving at the airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to check in and freshen up. Casablanca is a city of contrasts, where tradition meets modernity. Start your exploration with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, situated on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Stroll along the waterfront promenade, visit the Royal Palace, and savor the local cuisine at restaurants offering fresh seafood.

Day 2 Day 2: Casablanca to Fez via Rabat and Meknes

Today, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. Along the way, you’ll make stops in two other significant cities: Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and Meknes, one of the country’s Imperial Cities. In Rabat, you’ll explore historical sites such as the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue to Meknes, a city with a rich history, and visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate. Day 3 Day 3: Fez Medina Exploration

 Today is devoted to immersing yourself in the mesmerizing Fez Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a guided sightseeing tour. The labyrinthine streets of the medina offer a sensory overload of colors, sounds, and scents. You’ll visit the Bounania Madrasa, a splendid example of Moroccan architecture, and observe the traditional leather tanneries which is one of the oldest tanneries in the world since the 12th century. The lively souks of Fez beckon you to explore and shop for a variety of Moroccan goods, from intricately designed rugs to aromatic spices. Don’t forget to sample local delicacies like pastilla and harira in the medina. 

We will ensure that you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University (the oldest in the region), the Attarine Museum and Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After lunch, we will visit the Tiles Cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole medina of Fez.

Day 4 Fez to Merzouga via Atlas Mountains

 As you leave Fez, you’ll set out on a captivating journey through Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. The road takes you to Ifrane, often referred to us “Little Switzerland” due to its European-inspired architecture and clean streets. Next, you’ll traverse the forested area of Azerou, where tall cedar trees provide a striking contrast to the desert landscapes you’ll encounter later in the day, and stop to see the Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat. after having lunch in Midelt (the Apple city) by the half way to the desrt, you will continue your journey via Tizi N Talghamt pass, which takes it’s name from the Berber Language and means the Camel pass according to the former Berber carvan traids who used to that road, heading to Errachidia city and the beautiful Ziz Valley through the mid-Atlas mountain chain.  By the evening, you’ll reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll check in at a desert camp, offering an authentic desert experience under the starlit sky.

Day 5 Merzouga to Dades Valley via Tinghir

Begin your day with an unforgettable experience – watching the sunrise over the Saharan sand dunes, which is going to be the highlight of your stay in the desert. After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Dades Valley, taking a scenic route through Tinghir and the spectacular Todra Gorges. The towering limestone cliffs of the gorge create a natural wonder, and you’ll have time to explore its depths and enjoy a walk within the cliffs. Continue to Tinghir, a picturesque oasis town surrounded by lush palm groves. In the evening, you’ll reach the Dades Valley and check in at your hotel or riad, nestled amidst the dramatic landscapes.

Day 6 Dades Valley to Marrakech via High Atlas Mountains

Today, you’ll embark on a drive that will take you through the High Atlas Mountains, revealing breathtaking views at every turn. You’ll make stops at various viewpoints, allowing you to appreciate the stark beauty of these towering peaks. Your route will also lead you to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which has served as a backdrop for numerous films including “Gladiator”, “The Mommy”, “Laurance of Arabia”, and a part of the series “Game of Thrones”. The day ends with your arrival in Marrakech, where you’ll check in at your hotel, located in the heart of the vibrant city.

Day 7 Marrakech Exploration with a Local Guide

Dive into the enchanting city of Marrakech with the guidance of a knowledgeable local guide. The day’s exploration begins at the Bahia Palace, an architectural marvel with intricate tilework and lush gardens. Next, you’ll visit the Jardin Majorelle, a serene oasis of exotic plants and vibrant blue structures, designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle. The Koutoubia Mosque, with its stunning minaret, is a must-visit landmark. Spend the afternoon at the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can explore the lively souks, savor street food, and experience the unique street performances and traditions that have made Marrakech famous.

Day 8 Departure from Marrakech or Casablanca

On your final day, the plan depends on your flight schedule. If you have a flight departing from Marrakech, you can explore the city further, do some last-minute shopping in the souks, or simply relax at your hotel. Alternatively, if your flight is from Casablanca, you’ll travel back to the economic capital of Morocco, where you can engage in any last-minute sightseeing or shopping before heading to the airport for your departure.
